摘要 A microorganism Paenibacillus polymyxa KPB3 for suppression of bacterial wilt disease caused by Ralstonia solanacearum is provided to control the bacterial wilt disease damaging Solanaceae plants including tomatoes and red peppers efficiently and promote growth of plants. The microorganism Paenibacillus polymyxa KPB3(KCCM 10793P) for suppression of bacterial wilt disease is isolated from the soil for culturing tomatoes and cultured by inoculating Paenibacillus polymyxa KPB3(KCCM 10793P) in a medium having pH 7.0 at 25-30 deg.C, transferring a seed strain into a medium and culturing at 30-100 rpm and 0.2-0.8 vvm, regulating culture conditions to 80-150 rpm and 0.6-0.9 vvm when growth of strain becomes fast, regulating pH to 6.7-7.0 when pH is reduced to 6.2 after 18-24 hours of culture, and adding 30-100 ppm of DPA(dipicolinic acid) into the medium when pH 6.2 is maintained for 3-4 hours without change to induce spore forming, and cooling the cultured medium when the fermentation is finished.
