A process for manufacturing a functional transparent film is provided to produce the transparent film with far-infrared ray radiation beneficial to crops and human body, which exhibits improved anti-bacterial property, temperature retention and body metabolism, promotes blood circulation and prevents various diseases including sick house syndrome, by comprising a mixture of loess and kaolin as well as EVA resin and other additives. The process includes the steps of: blending a powdery mixture of 21-45wt. parts of loess and kaolin, 40-70wt. parts of EVA resin, 2-4wt. parts of UV blocking agent, 3-5wt. parts of a dispersing agent, 3-4wt. parts of a surfactant, 1-2wt. parts of a slipping agent to form a paste; dispersing and extrusion molding the paste through an extruder; cutting the extrusion molded product into pellets with a constant size; and conduction a series of works such as dehydration, desiccation, cooling and packing processes for the pellets. The loess powder is prepared by sizing and crushing a loess ore, breaking the crushed loess material, selecting loess materials with high quality, and finely grinding the selected loess material into loess powder with 2000 to 4000 mesh.
