An indoor unit of an air conditioner is provided to selectively shield the front of an external case in both directions by installing a front door to rotate forwardly at a right end or a left end. An indoor unit of an air conditioner includes an external case(100), a front door, a front frame(200), an external frame(450), an external hinge unit(460), an internal frame(440), and an internal hinge unit. The external case has an internal space. The front door selectively shields the front of the external case. The front frame is installed at the rear of the front door, and forms the front part of the external case. The external frame forms the external circumference of the front door. The external hinge unit is coupled at the front frame and the external frame, and is coupled to make the front door rotate. The internal frame is mounted along the inner surface of the external frame, and supports the front door. The internal hinge unit is coupled at the external frame and the internal frame, and is coupled to make the front door rotate to the other direction. |
