FIELD: technique and process for elimination of pleats from clothing in washing or drying machine using steam for elimination of pleats from clothing in the state it was worn by user or stored as well as in the state in which clothing washing process is completed. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves determining whether pleat elimination program is selected; feeding primary hot air to clothing for removal of dust from the latter when it has been determined that pleat elimination program is selected; feeding steam to clothing from which dust has been removed; feeding secondary hot air for elimination of pleats from clothing. Apparatus has signal introducing unit for selecting pleat elimination program, steam generating and drying devices for feeding of steam and hot air into drum where clothing is placed, and control unit adapted for controlling of drying device in order to provide feeding of hot air before feeding of steam, in case steam feeding commands are generated at the stage of dust removal or elimination of contaminants from contaminated clothing. ^ EFFECT: increased efficiency of method and apparatus. ^ 9 cl, 5 dwg |
