Disclosed is a hydrogenation process for C3 halogenated compounds, comprising contacting a C3 halogenated compound with both a catalyst and a hydrogenating reagent, in the presence of water to form a hydrohalogenated compound, the water being present in an amount of at least about 0.04 percent by weight of the C3 halogenated compound.
