CARBON MONOXIDE REMOVING SYSTEM AND FUEL PROCESSOR AND FUEL CELL COMPRISING THE SAME

Provided are a carbon monoxide removing catalyst system which can be operated in a single reactor and has a high selectivity to an electron in the methanation of carbon dioxide, a fuel treatment device containing the carbon monoxide removing catalyst system, and a fuel cell system containing the fuel treatment device. A carbon monoxide removing catalyst system comprises a PROX (preferential oxidation) reaction catalyst; and a non-supported methanation catalyst particle comprising a non-noble metal-based activated catalyst metal particle and its oxide particle. Preferably the non-noble metal-based activated catalyst metal particle is cobalt (Co), nickel (Ni) or their mixture; and the oxide is CoOx, NiOx or their mixture (wherein x is 1-2). Preferably the methanation catalyst particle has an average diameter of 2-500 nm.
