A polypeptide capable of being effectively linked to a galactose promoter of yeast is provided to economically and easily mass-produce a recombinant protein by activating the galactose promoter when being continuously expressed in the yeast. The polypeptide comprises a DNA binding domain including at least three zinc finger domains selected from the group consisting of QSHT, RDHT, VDYK, QSSR, QSNI, VSSR, QSTR, DSKR, RSNR, AND RDNQ and is linked to a galactose1(GAL 1) promoter of a yeast. The polypeptide further comprises a zinc finger domain such as a GAL4 activation domain, a VP16 domain of a herpes simplex virus and a p65 domain of a mammal cell. The method for mass-producing a recombinant protein in yeast comprises the steps of: (a) introducing a plasmid expressing a recombinant protein gene and a plasmid expressing the polypeptide under the control of a GAL1 promoter, in which a GAL4 activating factor binding portion is eliminated, into a yeast cell; and (b) culturing the transformed yeast cell obtained from the step (a). |
