FIELD: textile industry, in particular, fibrous material cleaning machine. ^ SUBSTANCE: machine for cleaning of fibrous materials has feeding pipeline, upper chamber adjoining the latter and provided with feeding unit in its lower part, lower chamber with mellowing drum adjoining feeding unit, and discharge cylinders in its lower part, cleaning unit adjoining lower chamber and including feeding unit, cleaning drum provided with contaminant cutoff knives, and refuse chamber provided with refuse discharge air pipe and positioned under cleaning drum, and fan with pressure air pipe whose outlet end is led into feeding unit zone, and discharge air pipe. Cleaning drum is positioned immediately downstream of feeding unit. Lower chamber is additionally provided with flexible plate curved so as to form two joined curved surfaces. Plate is positioned opposite mellowing drum and attached with its one edge to chamber wall so as to vary distance and angle between generatrix of cylindrical surface of mellowing drum and plate surfaces junction line. Pressure air pipe is additionally equipped with plate attached to inner surface of wall by means of member providing deviation of plate from vertical position. Outlet of pressure air pipe is led into space between feeding unit and flexible curved plate. Machine of such construction allows not only cotton fiber but also flax fiber and trash thereof to be processed. ^ EFFECT: wider operational capabilities and enhanced reliability in operation. ^ 7 cl, 3 dwg |
