A variable steering rack stroke apparatus for a vehicle is provided to ensure the maximum rack stroke with respect to wheel strokes including bump/rebound of each wheel, thereby providing steering stability of the vehicle. A driven gear(24) of a steering gear box(23) is coupled to a driving gear(22) of a driving motor(21). A rack end(26) is installed at a front end of a rack(25) protruding while passing through the driven gear(24). A tie rod(28) is coupled to the rack end(26) by using a ball joint(27). A stroke stopper(32) is movably installed in a shaft direction of the rack(25) through a screw coupling part(31) placed in the front of the driven gear(24). The operation of the driving motor(21) is controlled based on a value measured through a wheel stroke detector detecting a steering state of a wheel, thereby ensuring the maximum rack stroke with respect to all wheel stroke.
