A floor opening and closing valve for a shower instrument is provided to allow a user to control flow of the cold/hot water by opening and closing passages of floor hot and cold water pipes with feet. The floor opening and closing valve(10) for a shower instrument is composed of a valve body(11) installed on the floor of a building and provided with hot and cold water opening and closing passages(11a,11b) aligned in parallel, wherein the hot water opening and closing passage connected to a floor hot water pipe and the cold water opening and closing passage connected to a floor cold water pipe; a button(12) protruded from the floor of the building, installed on the floor of the building, and pushed to move down to the valve body; an opening and closing plate(13) installed at the valve body to move between a closing position for cutting off the hot and cold water opening and closing passages and an opening position for opening the passages; and an opening and closing operation unit for moving the opening and closing plate to the opening position if the button is pressed and moving the opening and closing plate to the closing position if the button is released. |
