A system and a method for testing access authentication are provided to offer a stable service by analyzing a processing speed and capacity of each server to optimize a network design and to induce performance enhancement. A system for testing access authentication includes an access authentication server(110). The access authentication server(110) performs virtual authentication, and analyzes and outputs an authentication result. A network access system(130) transmits signals between an Internet network(140) and the access authentication server(110). A DHCP(Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) server(150) allocates an IP if a DHCP virtual process module requests an IP allocation. An authentication server(160) provides a web-based authentication page for inputting an ID and a password in an authentication virtual process module(116) and stores an inputted ID and password by mapping an allocated IP in a subscriber authentication information DB(170). An additional service server(180) provides additional services.
