A patient lifter apparatus is provided to simplify the structure and to safely move the disabled man by simply operating a handle operating unit, a body unit, and a support unit. The patient lifter apparatus is composed of a support unit(500) having four wheels at the lower part; a staple-shaped body support plate vertically formed at the upper side of the support unit; an inverse L-shaped body unit(200) inserted into the body support plate; knee protection plate units linked to knee protection plate connecting units installed at both sides of the middle portion of the body unit; a handle operating unit(100) fixed to the upper side of the body unit by a multi-purpose connecting tool, extended toward the rear side, and composed of two pipe-shaped frames separated from each other in a predetermined gap; a handle folding device installed in the middle of the handle operating unit; and a chest protecting plate fixed to the upper side of the front end. The handle folding device includes a folding body having an opened front side, a connecting pipe fixed at one side, and a through-hole formed at the rear side; a moving pipe connected to both sides of the folding body to move back and forth; projection units formed on the front and rear sides of the moving pipe; a connecting pipe installed in the moving pipe; a handle-folding fixing unit extended at the predetermined angle and protruded on the front side of the moving pipe; and a handle-folding adjusting grip fixed at the handle-folding fixing unit.
