<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the state fluctuation of a driven element due to voltage drop in a potential supply line. <P>SOLUTION: During a writing period Pwr, a potential (Vdd-Vth) corresponding to the threshold voltage Vth of a drive transistor Tdr is supplied to the electrode Eal of a capacitor C1, and also, a potential Vdata corresponding to gradation specified in a unit circuit U is supplied from a data line 14 to the electrode Ea2. During a setting period Pst, a transistor Tr1 is changed to an ON state, then, the gate potential Vg of the drive transistor Tdr is set at a control potential corresponding to the potential Vdata and the threshold voltage Vth. During a driving period Pdr, an electro-optic element E is driven with the supply of a driving current Iel in accordance with the control potential. During the driving period Pdr, a power supply potential Vdd is supplied from a power supply line 17 to the electrode Ea2 through the transistor Tr1 kept in the ON state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
