<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical amplifying fiber storage tray capable of rolling an optical amplifying fiber for storage, correctly evaluating a loss in its connection, and obtaining good optical characteristics when stored in a module; and to provide an optical amplification module, an optical fiber amplifier, and an optical fiber laser using the tray. <P>SOLUTION: The optical amplifying fiber storage tray for rolling the optical amplifying fiber for storage is equipped with a fiber bending diameter adjusting means capable of adjusting the bending diameter of at least part of the fiber, so that the diameter when stored differs from that when connected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
