PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect data stored in terminal devices from disasters without increasing costs for a facility to backup data. SOLUTION: A data security system 1 has a center apparatus (a second storage part) 3 connected to a network 2, connection apparatuses (data transfer parts) 41 and 42 to connect to the network 2, and terminal devices (first storage parts) 61 to 65. The center apparatus 3 is connected to a P-wave detection sensor which detects the P-wave of an earthquake (P-wave information on an earthquake) or an external server provided with a P-wave detection sensor through the network 2. A disaster information acquisition part that acquired earthquake occurrence information transmits disaster information to the connection apparatuses 41 and 42, and then the connection apparatuses transfer data stored in the terminal devices 61 to 65 to the center apparatus 3.
