PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curable resin composition for column spacers for producing column spacers which can effectively suppress occurrence of color unevenness caused by a failure due to gravity without causing low-temperature foaming, column spacers obtained using the curable resin composition for column spacers, and a liquid crystal display element. SOLUTION: The curable resin composition for column spacers used for producing column spacers of a liquid crystal display element comprises a vinyl polymer (A), a compound (B) having two or more polymerizable unsaturated bonds per molecule and a photoreactive initiator (C), wherein the vinyl polymer (A) has a crosslinkable functional group at least at one terminal of a polymer backbone.
