PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide deckle-edged Japanese paper sheets produced by hand-making or machine-making and aligned in longitudinal and lateral rows, a deckle-edged Japanese paper sheet for label to be printed in a state laminated to a releasing paper, and a method for producing the paper sheet. SOLUTION: A plurality of deckle-edged Japanese paper sheets 7 produced by hand-making or machine-making in a state connected together by a thin line part 8 at regular intervals are dehydrated/dried and laminated to a releasing paper 12 to enable easy separation of the deckle-edged Japanese paper 7 in such a manner as to the cut-off of a postage stamp.
