PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stone mill powder grinding device preventing the excessive wear of the sliding face in a stone mill without excessively damaging the structure of the object to be milled upon grinding in the stone mill and further without damaging its function (blending effect) of kneading the powder in the sliding face in the stone mill simultaneously with pulverization. SOLUTION: In the stone mill powder grinding device 1, a shaft body 10 is arranged projectingly to the central position of the upper face 4b in a lower mill 4, the tip side of the shaft body 10 is freely fitted with a cylindrical member 16, a hole 5a provided at the central position of an upper mill 5 is freely fitted with the cylindrical material 16, and the upper mill 5 is rotatably arranged at the upper face 4b of the lower mill 4, a shaft mechanism 3 incorporated with a facial pressure control spring 14 energizing the cylindrical material 16 to the shaft body 10 and performing the control of the facial pressure by the gravity of the upper mill 5 is provided.
