PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot machine capable of making a player hopeful of the development to a jackpot game and interested in the game by executing appropriate presentation according to stopped symbols while the player performs the operation to stop reels. SOLUTION: The slot machine comprises a winning combination lottery means, a reel control means, a winning flag control means for setting a winning flag when a winning combination is won by a lottery and executing the control to carry over the state in which the winning flag is set to the next game round till the winning combination is won, a winning game control means for executing a winning game in the next game round if it determines that the winning combination is won in the state in which the winning flag is set, and a presentation control means. When the presentation control means determines that there is a symbol combination other than the winning combination with no possibility of winning as a result of reference to the stopped symbols on already stopped reels when a prescribed number of reels are stopped in the state in which with the winning flag is set, the player is provided with the announcement presentation for announcing the information corresponding to the symbol combination.
