A method for reading the output of a temperature sensor of an automatic vending machine is provided to exactly drive a system by computing a resistance value for securing the maximum linear characteristic within a measurement temperature range and then calculating a dynamic average value. In the method for reading the output of a temperature sensor of an automatic vending machine, a temperature sensor changes a resistance value according to the change of peripheral temperature. An analog interface unit obtains an analog output value of the temperature sensor. A CPU(Central Processing Unit) checks the temperature change on the basis of a signal input through the analog interface unit and controls driving of a system. An analog power supply unit supplies reference voltage to the analog interface unit and the CPU. The method for reading the output of the temperature sensor comprises steps for connecting a resistor to the temperature sensor in series to receive the output change of the temperature sensor; measuring voltage applied on both ends of the temperature sensor by changing a resistance value of the serial resistor; and calculating a value of the resistor that makes the gradients of contact lines same at both ends of a temperature measuring section, in a relation graph of temperature and voltage. Therefore, the method measures the temperature with a dynamic average value of measured temperature by using the linear characteristic of the temperature sensor within the temperature measuring section. |
