METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TRANSMITTING SIGNAL IN A COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

A method and an apparatus for transmitting a signal in a communication system are provided to reduce complexity and overhead of a communication system by easily transmitting a signal of a different frequency band according to a signal transmission method employed for the communication system. When first and second signals each with a different band are inputted according to a transmission method employed for a communication system, the first and second signals are combined. The combined first and second signals are transferred to a transceiver board through the same transmission path. The first and second signals which have been transmitted through the same path are separated, and one of the first and second signals is selected according to the transmission method and then transmitted.
