PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preparing an O-acyl derivative for improving beautiful appearance of the hair, resisting to depilation and/or promoting regrowth. SOLUTION: The method for enabling the O-acyl derivative of glucose to be rapidly and easily prepared in high yield in an industrial level comprises using an O-acylation product derived from the glucose and obtained by partially or wholly esterifying the hydroxy group of the glucose and vitamin F, and forming a composition by allowing the product to be contained in a proper medium.
