PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lever fitting type connector allowing a lever to be attached to the connector after a terminal with a wire is inserted into the connector, and of preventing the lever from coming off from the connector during a rotating operation. SOLUTION: This lever fitting type connector 1 includes a female connector 2, a male connector 3 and the lever 4. The lever 4 is composed of: a pair of side plates 41a and 41b arranged in parallel with each other and having one-side ends separated from each other with a space; a connection part 42 for connecting the other-side ends of the side plates 41a and 41b to each other; and support projections 44 arranged at the one-side ends of the pair of side plates 41a and 41b. The lever 4 further includes flange parts 45 extended in the circumferential direction from outer edges of the support projections 44.
