<p>A stable solid oral dosage form comprising valsartan or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and pharmaceutically acceptable additives such as sugar (derivatives) and cellulose (derivatives). The active agent is present in an amount less than 35% by weight based on the total weight of the solid oral dosage form. Disclosed is also a process of forming a valsartan- containing composition; which process comprises blending valsartan with pharmaceutically acceptable additives, dry compressing, milling and screening said mixture to obtain granules. Said granules are compressed into tablets and are subsequently coated.</p>
