<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a constriction estimating apparatus used for estimating a constriction region of a blood vessel while diagnosing the artery of the lower limb for constriction. <P>SOLUTION: An upper limb pulse wave velocity related value hbPWV measured by an upper limb pulse wave velocity related value calculation means 66 and a ratio% baPWV of a lower limb pulse wave velocity related value estimated value baPWV<SB>p</SB>determined by a lower limb pulse wave velocity related value estimating means 92 on the basis of the relationship between an upper limb pulse wave velocity related value and a lower limb pulse wave velocity related value both stored in advance to a lower limb pulse wave velocity related value baPWV measured actually by a lower limb pulse wave velocity related value calculation means 68 are displayed on a display 53 as shown in Fig. 5 along a longitudinal axis with boundary lines showing decision areas.
