PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel in which a short-circuiting between leading out wires from data electrodes due to attachment of contaminant, or migration caused by electric field concentration, hardly occurs, and a circumference space on a rear substrate is reduced. SOLUTION: The plasma display panel includes: a front substrate on which display electrodes are formed; and a rear substrate 3 on which a plurality of data electrodes 11 intersecting with the display electrodes are arranged by a prescribed pitch. In the plasma display panel, at ends of the rear substrate 3, there are provided: data electrode terminals 30 arranged by a pitch narrower than that of the data electrodes 11, which electrically connect the data electrodes 11 with external terminals, respectively; and the leading out wires 25 which connect the data electrodes 11 with the data electrode terminals 30, respectively.
