PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilated disc rotor capable of reducing brake noise by improving vibrating characteristics with a simple constitution without affecting the width of a ventilation hole and the like. SOLUTION: In this ventilated disc rotor 1 provided with the ventilation hole between a pair of opposed annular sliding plates 2, 3 through a plurality of ribs 4 radially extending, a U-shaped groove 7 having a radial depth of 4 mm or more is formed substantially at the center of an outer peripheral end portion of at least one of the plurality of ribs 4.
