PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic work substance rotary magnetic refrigerator rotating a magnetic work substance installed in a position separate from a central axis on a concentric circle of the central axis of a rotation part around the center the central axis of the rotation part to perform refrigeration by relation with a counter fixed superconductive bulk body. SOLUTION: This magnetic work substance rotary magnetic refrigerator has: the rotary magazine type rotation part 1 formed with holes 3 in the positions separate from the central axis 2 on the concentric circle of the central axis 2 in a rotary magazine type, and installed with the magnetic work substances 4 in the holes 3; fixed parts 5, 6 disposed in the central axis 2 direction adjacently to the rotary magazine type rotation part 1 such that they face to the rotary magazine type rotation part 1, and formed with holes 7, 8 allowing facing to the holes 3 formed in the rotary magazine type rotation part 1; and the high-temperature superconductive bulk bodies 9, 10 disposed in the central axis 2 direction adjacently to the outside of the fixed parts 5, 6 in a fixed state, and disposed in a state allowing facing to the magnetic work substance 4 such that they acting on the magnetic work substance of the rotary magazine type rotation part 1 through the holes 7, 8 formed in the fixed parts 5, 6.
