PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knob capable of obtaining sufficient operation feeling while suppressing the generation of noise by contact between the knob and a transparent cover. SOLUTION: The knob 1 is made to a constitution that three parts of a grip 2, a rod 3 and a damper 4 are bonded, and the damper 4 is formed by a softer material than the grip 2, the rod 3 and the transparent cover 108. Thereby, a noise level generated by collision of the damper 4 and the transparent cover 108 is reduced and the grip 2 and the rod 3 of a harder material than the damper 4 are directly bonded to enhance rigidity of the whole of the knob 1. Thereby, it can be made to the knob in which operation feeling of the knob 1, i.e., a response when it is gripped by a finger and is operated is sufficient, namely the knob in which certain operation feeling can be obtained. Further, since the driver touches/operates not the soft damper 4 but the hard grip 2, the operation feeling of the knob 1 can be also made sufficient by this. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
