PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight folding storage type aircraft leg at a low manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: A shock absorber 30 is combined with a folding type leg pillar 20 having a joint part 21 at an intermediate part. At folding storage of the leg pillar 20, a base end of the shock absorber 30 is separated from a base end of the leg pillar 20 and is connected to a side of a machine body 10 such that the shock absorber 30 is used as a compression rod. The number of parts is reduced by eliminating the compression rod. The shock absorber 30 is not contracted at storage and waste load is not given to an actuator 40. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
