POST-FITTING OUTER SHEATH PART MOUNTING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting method for a post-fitting outer sheath part capable of covering a door lower part at low cost by using a part of an existing outer sheath part in conjunction to reduce a portion to be wasted by reducing the number of parts of an exchange portion when the existing outer sheath part is replaced by the post-fitting outer sheath part. SOLUTION: In the post-fitting outer sheath part 10 having a different design shape from an outer side part 20c is mounted to a door body 60 instead of the existing outer sheath part 10c. The outer side part 20c and an inner side part 30c of the existing outer sheath part 10c are cut by a thin hinge part 11c to separate them and one end of the post-fitting outer sheath part 10a is bonded to the inner side part 30c. In the state that the outer side part 20c of the existing outer sheath part 10c is removed from the door body 60, one end of the post-fitting outer sheath part 10a is fixed to the door body 60 through the inner side part 30c of the existing outer sheath part 10c.
