PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of repairing a mold for molding honeycomb-structured bodies by which the mold is accurately and easily repaired and excellent durability and wear resistance are given to the mold and a repaired mold. SOLUTION: The mold 1 for molding honeycomb-structured bodies has the feed holes 12 to feed the material and slit grooves 13 which communicate with the feed holes 12, are arranged in gridlike fashion and mold the material into a honeycomb shape and is partially worn as it is used. The method of repairing the mold 1 comprises forming the regenerated film 2 on the worn parts 19 of the groove-formed surface 130 which is the leading edge in the extrusion direction of the mold body 11 having slit grooves 13 and of the corners 14 formed at the crossings of the groove-formed surface 130 and the inside surface 131 of the slit grooves 13 by feeding a film-forming material from the side of the groove-formed surface 130 and subjecting the surfaces to a PVD treatment.
