A material for producing a solid mineral foam product, comprises a solid component and a liquid component. The solid component consists of an amorphous powdery oxide mixture, which contains amorphous silicon dioxide and/or aluminium oxide and/or metakaolin, as well as a cement foaming agent and solid peroxide. The solid component also contains aluminium hydroxide.
