PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescence element which can attain a white emission and a high luminous efficacy, and further has an excellent luminous lifetime, in particular the organic electroluminescence element which can attain an excellent color reproduction property in combination with a color filter, and can provide a white backlight; and to provide an organic electroluminescence display which is excellent in a color rendering property by use of the organic electroluminescence element. SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescence element has at least an anode, a cathode, a light emitting layer which emits phosphorescence, and the light emitting layer which emits fluorescence to between the anode and cathode on a support substrate; and the obtained light releases at least a blue color therein.
