PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scanned image management device for improving retrievability and reusability of a scanned image. SOLUTION: A scanned image management device comprises a means for receiving a scanned image, a means for allowing a user to select a tag from among a set of pre-defined tags or newly generated tags, a means for registering the scanned image in association with the tag, a means for registering association between independent tags, and a means for retrieving a target scanned image by using the selected tag.
