PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out displaying at a position easy to see by a user while obviating the need of an electric wire capable of degrading visibility or operability of the user in a structure that a notice relating to a condition of an ink tank is issued by a light emission section such as an LED, and to facilitate the manufacturing process of the ink tank. SOLUTION: The light emission section and a display section are separated with each other and a light introduction section for optically coupling them to each other is provided therebetween. The light introduction section is integrally formed with the housing of the ink tank. As a result of the above structure, the display section is disposed on an optimum position without wiring the electric wires on the ink tank and it is possible to obtain a quantity of light capable of improving the visibility for a user and suitable for the operational stability of a light receptive section.
