PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily manufacturing an organic electroluminescent element having a multilayer structure by a wet method by using low-molecular organic matter. SOLUTION: In stacking the low-molecular organic matter, the low-molecular organic matter can be stacked by using a solvent wherein a solubility parameter (SP value) of a solvent dissolving a primer coating layer is separated from that of a solvent constituting a coating liquid for forming a finish coating layer by not smaller than 4.0 (cal/cm<SP>3</SP>)<SP>1/2</SP>.
