PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that a vane touch a part left without machined called "burr" of a slit slide surface edge part during air pump operation, causing excessive wear of the vane slide surface, input increase and noise increase due to vane jumping. SOLUTION: Curved surface shapes are provided on an edge part formed by a rear plate 10 side rotor end surface and a front plate 9 adjacent to the vane sliding surface of the slit 1, and a slit tip edge part formed by the vane slide surface and a rotor outer circumference surface. Consequently, contact resistance due to "burr" is eliminated, reciprocating motion of the vane in the slit is made smooth, and excessive wear of the vane, input increase and noise increase due to vane jumping can be inhibited.
