PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arrangement structure for a roof side functioning component, capable of preventing the breakage of a functioning component at the time of deployment of an airbag, and preventing broken pieces from scattering into a vehicle cabin. SOLUTION: The roof side functioning component 1 is attached to a vehicle body 8 structuring a roof side 71 by a metallic member 2. The metallic member 2 is composed of a metallic frame portion 22 disposed at a body opening portion 831 formed on the vehicle body 8 for attaching the functioning component 1, a metallic base portion 21 fixed to the vehicle body 8, and a metallic coupling portion 23 coupling the metallic base portion 21 and the metallic frame portion 22. In the arrangement structure for the roof side functioning component 1, the functioning component 1 and the metallic frame portion 22 are structured to be pushed by the airbag 6 when the airbag 6 develops and folds the metallic coupling portion 23, thereby projecting out into the vehicle cabin 7.
