PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet printing system which can reduce density irregularity and white streaky band-like noise, without setting up a complicated circuit, as an inkjet printing system with a plurality of printing heads arranged in a zigzag fashion. SOLUTION: This inkjet printing system prints an image in a printing medium using a line head with a duplicate part where a specified number of nozzles are superposed over each other between adjacent head chips. In this inkjet printing system, a density detection means which detects the density of a formed image, an image memory unit which stores image data, and a control means which controls an ink discharge amount in the duplicate part, based on the difference in the density of the image formed in the duplicate part of the head chip, using image data which are read from the image memory unit and the density of the image formed in the center of the head chip, are provided.
