The device has a fixing unit provided, where the fixing unit fixes the device directly in a blood vessel. A drug receiving region receives multiple drugs for treating a disease of a patient. A drug dispensing region dispenses the drugs from the device, where the drug dispensing regions stays in connection with the drug receiving region. The fixing unit is designed in such a manner that the fixing of the device in the blood vessel is effected by a form closure and/or force closure. The fixing unit is designed such that the fixing unit is changeable in its outer dimensions. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for treating a disease of a patient (2) a method for filling a drug releasing device with multiple drugs.
