PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency of large quantity cash receipt and disbursement works performed in a financial institution while securing safety.

SOLUTION: This method for controlling cash handling equipment which bundles cash for every predetermined number of sheets and holds the cash as small bundles includes a step for requesting payment of the small bundles from the cash handling equipment and receiving a payment request including terminal type information from a terminal, a first determination step for determining whether or not the cash handling equipment can pay the small bundles regarding the payment request, a second determination step for determining whether or not the terminal type information included in the payment request indicates adjacent arrangement of the cash handling equipment to a terminal of a requesting part of the payment request, and a step for directing payment of the small bundles regarding the payment request to the cash handling equipment if an affirmative determination is made in the first and second determination steps.
