摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To disable the provision of a content either unable to be played back by a call originating unit or unintended by a calling party, in case the content is provided to the call originating unit instead of a signal tone until a called party answers, when the calling party makes a telephone call to the called party. SOLUTION: A call provision system 1 includes call originating unit 3, call terminating unit 5, content server 7, and IP network 9. In case the called party sets to provide the content instead of the signal tone, when there is an incoming call from the calling party, information indicating the content to be provided to the call originating unit 3 is forwarded from the call terminating unit 5 to the call originating unit 3. The call originating unit 3 decides whether or not the content is to be received based on the above information. As a result, in case the content is to be received, the content is provided from the content server to the call originating unit 3.
