PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power line carrier communication system capable of executing excellent power line carrier communication independently of the frequency of signals and the length of power lines and reducing the effect of noises while ensuring the frequency band used for the power line carrier communication even when an electric apparatus for emitting noises is connected to the power lines. SOLUTION: The power line carrier communication system provided with plugs 4 connected to the power lines 3, 3 to distribute power, PLC modems 5 connected to the power lines 3, 3 via the plugs 4, and the electric apparatus 8 for emitting noises to the power lines 3, 3 via the plug 4, includes a termination unit 11 with impedance in matching with the characteristic impedance of the power lines and provided at the end of the power lines 3, 3, and a filter unit 6 located between the electric apparatus 8 and the plug 4 and including a noise filter for attenuating the frequency band of the noises which the electric apparatus 8 emits to the power lines 3, 3.
