摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electro-optical device that can meet the requirement of miniaturization and high-definition, and improve an aperture ratio of a pixel region dramatically, an electronic apparatus, and a projector. SOLUTION: In the electro-optical device, a recessed part 10a is provided on the surface of a TFT array substrate 10 in the region between pixels. Since a part of the capacitance element 17, and a part of the wirings of a data line 6a, a scan line 3a and the like are disposed in the recessed part 10a, the area occupied by the capacitance element 17 and the wirings in the region between pixels can be reduced. Accordingly, the liquid crystal device can be miniaturized and the region between pixels can be narrowed, that is, to expand the pixel region. By this arrangement, the electro-optical device can meet the requirement of miniaturization and high-definition, and an aperture ratio of the pixel region is remarkably improved.
