<p>A method of easily manufacturing an endoscope insertion part. The method comprises a step of preparing a first node ring (36) having an elastic, generally hollow cylindrical first tubular part (38) extending in the circumferential direction and also having a discontinuous part extending across the first tubular part (38), a step of preparing a second node ring (36) having a generally hollow cylindrical second tubular part (38), a step of changing the diameter of the first tubular part (38) by elastically deforming the first tubular part (38), a step of positioning a projected part (42) at a receiving part (46) by moving the projected part (42) and the receiving part (46) relative to each other, the projected part being formed on one node ring (36) of the first and second node rings (36) and extending in the radial direction of the tubular part (38), the receiving part (46) being formed on the other node ring (36), the positioning being made, and a step of releasing the elastic deformation of the first tubular part (38) to recover the diameter thereof and rotatably inserting the projected part (42) into the receiving part (46) to rockably connect the first node ring (36) to the second node ring (36).</p> |
