PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger improved in performance without increasing the number of tubes. SOLUTION: The plurality of tubes 111 are cross-sectionally nearly elliptic flat tubes 111 formed in a flat state. The plurality of flat tubes 111 are disposed in parallel such that major axis direction is inclined to air flow direction. When dividing a plurality of columns into two of an air flow upstream side and an air flow downstream side, a plurality of the flat tubes disposed on the air flow upstream side and a plurality of the flat tubes 111 disposed on the air flow downstream side are disposed in parallel such that the major axis directions are reversed to the air flow direction.
