PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerant cycle device preventing an abnormal rise of pressure to standardize an expansion member. SOLUTION: In this refrigerant cycle device 10, a compressor 20 compressing a refrigerant, a gas cooler 30 radiating heat of the refrigerant, an expansion mechanism 40 adiabatically expanding the refrigerant, and an evaporator 50 evaporating the refrigerant are sequentially connected to circulate the refrigerant. The expansion mechanism 40 has a bypass route 42 having a plurality of capillary tubes disposed in series, provided in a state that it is branched into an expansion route 41 for adiabatically expanding the passing refrigerant and the upstream side of a first capillary tube 411, introducing the refrigerant flowing toward the expansion route 41, and sending out the refrigerant to between the first capillary tube 411 and a secondary capillary tube 412; and a bypass valve coming into a closing state in normal condition to restrict the passage of the refrigerant in the bypass route, and coming into am opening state in time of starting of the compressor 20 to permit the passage of the refrigerant in the bypass route 42.
