PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing device capable of preventing generation of abnormal noise by reducing fretting. SOLUTION: This rolling bearing device 1 comprises an outer member 20 having a raceway surface on its inner periphery, an inner member 30 having a raceway surface opposite to the raceway surface of the outer member, on its outer periphery, and rolling elements 5 disposed between the raceway surfaces opposite to each other, and a flange portion 2b for mounting a wheel through a brake disc, is formed on one of the outer member 20 and the inner member 30. A flange face 2d at a side of mounting the brake disc 6, of the flange portion 2b is provided with a buffering member 9 for buffering the fretting generated between the brake disc 6 and the flange portion 2b.
