PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographic apparatus capable of photographing an image whose shaking amount is decreased by simply specifying a shaking tendency of a photographer, and to provide a method of controlling the photographic apparatus, a control program and a recording medium. SOLUTION: The control method of the photographic apparatus includes: steps S1, S2 of acquiring a shaking after half press an operating unit for a photographing instruction; steps S3, S4 of applying frequency analysis to the shaking and judging whether or not the shaking with a predetermined amplitude or over within a predetermined frequency range ("shaking unique to unskilled photographers") exists; and steps S5, S6 particularizing the tendency of the shaking of photographers on the basis of a result of the judgment and performing the photographing processing according to the particularized tendency of the shaking.
